First one up: How to use recycled containers to start your seeds?
What containers are you going to use for your seed starting?

We used Trader Joes individual yogurt cups. They work great and our tomato seeds are flourishing! I just wrote a post yesterday about the seedlings and how we are planning on tracking their progress since we are first-timers.

I’ve been using individual-sized Pringles cups (I know, I know) to start basil and catnip this winter. They’re small enough to fit in the windowsill without blocking the view. It’s a little more challenging to get the drainage holes punched, but they are sturdy (and I feel a little better about the Pringles).
